(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - North of Jabadeen and East of Deir Atteih in Damascus countryside were the scene of clash between Syrian troops and antigovernment fighter in early hours of Wednesday.
Too many insurgents were killed and wounded by the Syrian army men who destroyed most of the rebels' hideouts in the battle fields, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported.
Some other units of the Syrian army targeted rebels' convoys on the road of al-Batra to the East of al-Rahiba, and destroyed all militants' vehicles there.
In Southwestern part of Adra, in a heavy clash between Syrian armed forces and foreign-backed terrorists, the army soldiers made a remarkable progress in clearing of the area from militants' presence.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs against Syrian police forces and border guards across the country.
Tens of thousands of people have been killed since some sporadic protest rallies turned into armed clashes.
The government blames outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups for the deaths, stressing that the unrest is being orchestrated from abroad.
